Description
A highly sculptural, ammonite-shaped sound maker, hand-built by our associates at Metal Media. The steel tines can be tapped or scraped using a beater to produce a range of notes that rise in pitch towards the centre. The Spiral Scraper lends itself to mounting on a freestanding timber frame where it can be accessed from both sides. The flat steel border of the spiral has pre-drilled mounting holes allowing easy installation into a timber surround using coach screws or bolts.
