Workshops
Acoustic Arts began life delivering educational workshops and public art projects for schools and community organisations throughout the UK. Over the last 30 years the group has created interactive musical installations for arts and cultural events from Glastonbury Festival to Gardener's World Live. Other clients have included the National Trust, RHS, NHS, RNIB, WOMAD and Arts Council England.
In previous years Acoustic Arts managed a talented team of artists, teachers and musicians with extensive experience of working with young people. By focussing on the musical and sculptural properties of everyday materials, their workshops and installations provided an accessible route for people with little or no musical experience to explore their creative and artistic potential.
Since 2025 Acoustic Arts has specialised in designing permanent outdoor musical instruments for educational, recreational and therapeutic settings. At the same time, Acoustic Arts is also able to provide valuable educational resources for teachers, play workers and other practitioners interested in improving their musical play and construction skills.
For those interested in more hands-on demonstrations and experiences, Acoustic Arts can recommend various artists and music teachers who will provide thrilling musical workshops for children of all ages and abilities. If you would like to learn more, please Contact Us at any time to discuss your options.
